Guardian's of the Galaxy Vol. 3
Guardian's of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is out in cinemas now!
The film was directed by James Gunn and starring Chris Pratt, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Dave Bautista and Pom Klementieff.
John Murphy wrote the score for the film, working closely with James Gunn on the final film of the trilogy.
The official synopsis reads "Our beloved band of misfits are settling into life on Knowhere. But it isn't long before their lives are upended by the echoes of Rocket's turbulent past. Peter Quill, still reeling from the loss of Gamora, must rally his team around him on a dangerous mission that, if not completed successfully, could quite possibly lead to the end of the Guardians as we know them.
A quote from a Marvellous Geeks Media review says "As emotionally poignant and breathtaking as the film, the Guardians of the Galaxy 3’s original score by John Murphy is a tear-jerker through and through. To contrast the vast array of emotions that Awesome Mix Vol. 3 brings to the forefront, the original score takes listeners through a different adventure as it dives deep into slower melodies."
The quote goes on to say "So much of the film is an emotional roller coaster, and during the most significant moments, the Guardians of the Galaxy 3 original score pulses through, adding nuances and depth to those scenes in a riveting fashion. It’s rare to note the music while watching the scene, but in this case, it’s effortless to pick up on them during the first screening. And that’s ultimately a testament to the work Murphy puts into crafting pieces that are full of emotions." Marvellous Geeks Media
